Job Overview Intuit AI is a team within Intuit that is focused on advancing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence across all Intuit products. The Core AI team is responsible for enhancing engineering capabilities to improve the efficiency, productivity, and impact of AI practitioners. As a backend developer on this team, you will design and build services, APIs, workflows, and pipelines for various Core AI platform components such as Feature stores, ML pipelines, AI workbench, AI lens, AI Marketplace, and Gen studio. You will work closely with data scientists, architects, analysts, designers, front-end developers, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and other peers to streamline model development across Intuit. Qualifications To qualify for this position, you should have at least 7 years of experience designing and building highly-performing, highly-available, and scalable distributed systems. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Java Spring-boot, data streaming, event-driven architecture, and open-source messaging platforms such as Kafka and NATS. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience with NOSQL implementations in production using databases like Mongo DB, Cassandra, Elastic search, and Redis. You must also have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms and be knowledgeable about Kubernetes and Cloud-based technologies. Responsibilities As a member of the Core AI team, you will drive the design and implementation of platform capabilities and services. You will work with various stakeholders, including data scientists, architects, product managers, and other engineering teams to understand customer requirements and make architecture decisions that create reusable components. You will also act as a senior engineer and subject matter expert, demonstrating technical expertise and solving challenging programming problems. In addition to working cross-functionally with other Intuit teams, you will provide on-call support for production deployments and participate in tech forums during India business hours. You will be responsible for maintaining good documentation of features and services and contributing to product-level documentation such as user guides, design documents, and runbooks. Finally, you will be accountable for the quality and support of applications and services that you contribute to in production.
