Innovate high-purity, high-performance chemicals and materials **Job Title: Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist****Job Summary: **
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Supervisor, you will lead the Buying and strategic sourcing function within the organization, overseeing the procurement of goods and services to achieve cost savings, optimize supplier relationships, and mitigate supply chain risks. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and mentor a team of sourcing professionals to drive operational excellence and contribute to the organization\'s strategic goals.**Key Responsibilities: **Buying Role (Procurement to Pay)
PO Placement to the supplier based on PR and follow up for material till GRN .
Expediting the supplies to meet CRDs.
Sharing the forecast N+3 to supplier for RM planning
Shortage report generation
Vendor Payment
Should have experience in Indirect and Direct purchase.
Knowledge of SAP
Coordination and continues follow up with HW Factory or external supplier
Close collaboration with sourcing / Quality/ Logistics/ WH/ Engineering/ OM / sales Team
Troubleshooting the Challenges in procurement related to Price / MOQ/ Supplies/ QualitySourcing Role1. **Sourcing Strategy Development:** Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation. Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing initiatives.
2. **Supplier Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable contracts, terms, and pricing. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, quality improvement, and value-added services.
3. **Team Leadership:** Supervise and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
4. **Strategic Vendor Selection:** Evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, reliability, and sustainability. Lead supplier selection processes, including requests for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
5. **Contract Negotiation:** Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal procurement policies and procedures.
6. **Cost Management:** Analyze pricing proposals, total cost of ownership (TCO), and cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost reduction initiatives, value engineering strategies, and other efficiency measures to optimize procurement costs.
7. **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supply shortages, price fluctuations, and geopolitical instability. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity.
8. **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:** Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations. Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track sourcing metrics, savings achievements, and compliance with procurement targets.9 BS - GMP / Install / Core - East & North (STRATEGIC) - to handle $ 16 M spend.

POP Tool Management for requisite approvals
PO Release & coordinate for deliveries.
Savings to be generated by utilizing E-auction tool.
Rate-contract finalization to be routed through Leap Tool.
Support BU & Projects to achieve Revenue targets
Ensure timely PO placement and deliveries.
Resolve GR-IR escalation cases for timely vendor payments and GST reconciliation.
Manage AWPOT as per Global targets.
Rebate to be collected from Preferred suppliers.Estimation Activities
L3 & L4 call Support (L3 / L4 Deck preparation)
Vendor pre-bid negotiation (Rate / Special terms)
Achieve Post-award savings.
Vendor assessment & Rate/Terms negotiation - In case of new vendor
INC SWAT Tool updating support.**Qualifications and Skills:**
Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. Master\'s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on leadership and strategic initiatives.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in contract management, supplier relationship management (SRM), and procurement software/tools.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present information and influence decision-making.**Working Conditions:**
Office-based environment with occasional travel to supplier sites or other locations as required.
May involve working extended hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Additional Information
