Sr. Strategic Planning Specialist, Honeywell Aerospace


About the role:


As a Sr.Strategic Planning Specialist (Tools C Analytics) professional for the Strategic Marketing team in Aerospace Technologies at Honeywell India, you will play a critical role in driving data- driven insights to impact our strategic decision-making process. We are looking for high-energy individuals who are passionate about using data to improve Honeywell Aerospace Technologies Strategic Marketing team's ability to analyze trends and forecast the future, someone who can effectively use industry data, integrate with internal tools, processes and quickly derive results through actionable insights C visualizations. In addition, be the bridge between the Strategic marketing team and in-house Information Technology (IT) teams.
Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with the Aerospace Technologies Strategy and Cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Ability C comfort to translate business questions/requirements into ad hoc scripts and analyses.


• Collect, interpret, analyze, and visualize data from various internal C external sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance. Managing the structure, timing, frequency, and method of the data being ingested from the different data providers/vendors (Data Engineering, Vendor Management)


• Ensuring scheduled automation jobs run and succeed every single day/week (Organization, Time Management)


• Proactively identify opportunities for improving data correctness and completeness to drive business efficiency.


• Debugging and or improving process steps to prevent recurring breakages or speed up workflows (Data Engineering, IT)


• Become familiar with various internal databases and tools and understand how we can tie them together and derive value (Eg: SAP, SFDC, Contract management etc)


Internal Stakeholder management
You must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field. Preferred Masters in Computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Management.


• 6+ years' experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business analyst


• Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-geography projects


• Intermediate proficiency of structured query languages (S?L) is a must





• R or Python (Statistics/Data Science) capabilities preferred


• Data visualization tools/Tableau/Power BI capabilities


• Aerospace/Defense/Space/Industrials market Experience is a plus


• Strong business sense, strategic thinking C problem-solving capability


• Base out of Bangalore, India location on a hybrid (4 OFFICE -1 WFH) work schedule
