Renesas is looking for a talented individual for their PCIe interface products. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in the design of complex integrated circuits with skills that are up to date with the latest IC design tools and flows. The Candidate will work closely with the verification and other design engineers, as well as the system architects.


Basic Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Working knowledge of the PCIe Physical Layer protocol (Gen 4 or higher) - required

• Experience architecting digital designs and writing design specification documents

• Strong ability to debug and root cause design issues

• Fast learner who enjoys new challenges

• Positive attitude and the ability to collaborate well in a multi-site team environment

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Experience with PIPE interface and PHY/controller integration is a strong asset

• Experience with synthesis, DFT insertion and STA at advanced technology nodes (16nm and below)

• Experience with formal verification, lint, CDC/RDC checking

• Experience with UVM verification

• Experience with scripting in Tcl, Perl, Python, bash, etc.

• Electrical or Computer Engineering degree and 12+ years of practical experience

• An advanced degree may substitute for some years of related experience
