Job Description
Improve Esper Platform by planning, recommending and executing strategic projects. Use metrics and data to provide insights on customer usage, bottlenecks, future requirements, security and scalability of the platform. Create standards, guidelines, sample projects, demos to influence engineering teams to write stable, secure, maintainable and quality code. Work with distributed teams to drive changes, write RCAs and coordinate resolution for production incidents. Objectively assess new technologies, tools, frameworks and design patterns for adoption into Esper Platform. Become the Subject Matter Expert(SME) for the DevOps team. Requirements: 5-10 years of overall experience. Hands on experience in building and managing cloud systems on one or more cloud providers - AWS, GCP, or AzureHands on knowledge of scripting or any modern programming languages. Experience in developing and deploying on UNIX/Linux based systems. Hands-on experience in performance optimization using multiple metrics. Hands-on experience in micro-services and container technologies. Understanding of best security practices for implementing IAC, automation and CI/CD workflows. Hands-on experience with managing highly scalable web systems and troubleshooting issues.
