Title: Sr. Specialist-Compliance/Business IntegritySr. Compliance Specialist (Business Integrity Program)Reporting to the Director of Business Integrity, the position will support KBR\xe2\x80\x99s Business Integrity program within the Legal Department. The program ensures compliance with laws and promotes a corporate culture of ethics and integrity. The Business Integrity team is responsible for implementing KBR\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Business Conduct and Anti-Corruption Compliance Program, performing third-party due diligence, maintaining the Ethics Hotline, conducting internal investigations, providing Ethics and Compliance training.Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors and manages the Ethics Hotline case management system to ensure compliance with investigative procedures and requirements.
  • Reviews information contained within the case management system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures.
  • Responsible for initial response, triage and time-sensitive tracking of Business Integrity allegations along with other team members.
  • Supports Business Integrity investigators, conducts employee interviews, drafts legal memoranda and reports.
  • Reviews applicable source documentation and data and conducts preliminary investigative steps under the supervision of Business Integrity investigators.
  • Provides other support for Business Integrity investigations and Legal initiatives that may include risk assessments and litigation support.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining an effective compliance awareness communication plan and responds to requests for information from global offices.
  • Conducts independent research of information contained in the case management system and other databases that include analyzing data and identifying trends. Presents the findings in professional documents, charts, and illustrations for executive presentations.
  • Provides reports requested by the business units to identify trends and effectively communicates with various HR managers.
  • Provides training to other users of the global case management system and supports those functions (HR, Security, etc.).
Job Qualifications
  • A four-year bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Four (4) to seven (7) years of professional experience.
  • Experience in analyzing a large volume of data and communicating the results verbally and in well-drafted reports and illustrations.
  • Experience in reviewing and responding to employee reports received via a reporting system (Ethics Hotline) and effectively managing a case management system would be beneficial.
  • Experience with conducting internal or external corporate investigations.
  • Forensic, audit, or paralegal experience or experience supporting a Corporate Ethics and Compliance or Legal function would be beneficial.

  • Critical thinking and organizational skills are necessary to research and analyze data to identify patterns and trends and to formulate action plans to mitigate organizational risks.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately, both in writing and verbally.
  • Organized and confident in balancing a complex workload with multiple due dates.
  • Ability to prepare illustrative products to include statistical reporting, newsletters, and ethics awareness materials.
  • Ability and experience in establishing working relations with other business functions.
  • Ability to work independently but ensure accurate internal engagement/alignment.
  • Advanced skills in using computer software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and web-based tools or database environments.
  • Highly motivated as a team player and demonstrates a collaborative approach to work.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with other functional areas through engagement.
