Your Focus
As Senior Specialist at our Finance Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for R2R Global Intercompany Reconciliations at a Trading Partner Pair level for AR/AP, Loans, Interest, Commission, Royalty and Miscellaneous items.
The role reports to Operations Leader.
How you will contribute
• Overall understanding of Accounting, particularly with Intercompany Trade & Service at Pair level.
• Reconcile all transactions during the month and ensure cross validation for missing trading partner.
• Confirm the balances as per closing schedules to respective teams accounting and ensure accruals are posted for un-reconciled transactions.
• Run a Pre-check Mismatch report on regular basis to identify the mismatches and ensure all the missing transactions are recorded before the Month End Close.
• Extract a Consolidation report on WD5 and reconcile the high imbalances for the Consolidation close purpose for Elimination purpose.
• Preparation of the Top side Journal Vouchers for the higher imbalances during the MEC Chase reconciliation for consolidations.
• Generate Ideas and work towards automations to improvise and standardize the process.
• Work on the Internal and External Audits and provide the required documentation as needed.
### Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
• CA (Intermediate) / CMA (Intermediate) / MBA / Bachelor's in Commerce / Finance or any other relevant discipline.
• Atleast 4-6 years' experience in Intercompany accounting.
• Good experience in ERP systems like SAP Hana and Analysis for Office.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Well versed with Microsoft applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage through others and collaborate effectively with all levels.
• Ability to prioritize important tasks and ensure they get complete timely.
• Ability to solve problem and anticipates risks and opportunities while working towards continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to operate in shifts.
