Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in cloud.
Proficiency in using and configuring RedHat Satellite servers, Yum repositories, Scripts, Ansible, Azure Upgrade Manager and Troubleshooting activities.
Analyze workload, configuration, and Software Vulnerabilities assess risk and provide actionable remediation on-premises and in the cloud Infrastructure for both mutable and immutable types.
Manage, Coordinate, Perform O/S Patch\xe2\x80\x99s, hotfixes on servers, vulnerability/security, Cert management, software upgrades and file system maintenance.
Collaborate with operational, cloud infrastructure teams on scheduling, Develop & Execute automation strategies on remediation action plans.
Carry out remediation across multiple systems of red hat, Linux centos, windows VM in cloud.
Employ tools to generate inventory of open source and third-party components to determine potential security.
Oversee Install and operations of packages, scanning agents through automation tool on all Linux servers to always ensure proactive protection.
Coordinate with the Security team for best practices on systems hardening.
Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant.
Regulate Identity management users based sudo policy on specific host or group of hosts.
Provide system administration solutions for operational needs.
Provide inputs on ways improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
Resolution of service requests, incidents reported thru service now/Remedy/Jira and day-to-day user issues per established procedures.
Mentor jr system administrators and compliance team by getting them involved and perform patching remediations.
Proactively Maintain all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7 availability.
Collaborate with peer organizations, product delivery teams, and support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3+ year of experience with RedHat Linux with patching experience
1+ year Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting
Recognized cloud certification(s) such as Linux Certification, Azure Admin or other recognized technology certifications in this space
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of in-depth experience in core System Administration working RedHat Linux, centos and Windows Environment.
1+ years of experience building cloud automation/orchestration solutions with technologies such as: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, other.
2+ years designing / implementing highly available cloud/Hybrid Cloud network solutions.
Deep understanding of cloud security experience. Deep understanding of preventative and retrospective controls.
Deep experience with performance tuning in a cloud environment
Experience architecting, implementing, and managing monitoring solutions for production cloud environments.
Knowledge/Experience with core AWS technologies
Experience with open-source cloud agnostic technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Open stack, Ansible, Terraform
Knowledge & demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and practice.
Ability to comfortably lead technical demo sessions to peers and leadership.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and technologies.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
