About the Role: 09 The Team: With IPCA products in the market since 1963, this team has a focus on refining and petrochemical industries from a financial analytics and process technology perspective. This position will play an important role in maintaining and developing downstream and chemical competitor databases which utilize detailed proprietary financial and operational models as well as writing financial reports based on output from these models. What We\'re Looking For : Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, econometrics, or industry-related fields (Energy or Chemicals) required graduate degree is a plus. Minimum of 2-3 years directly related experience in data analytics, databases, data transformation, information sciences, statistical analysis or similar. Experience in working on cloud-based environment (like AWS/Databricks) for model development and deployment Proficiency in MS Excel/VBA and Power BI with a good knowledge SQL & Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills including a mastery of the English language. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Highly focused on project delivery. General understanding and interest in energy & chemical markets. Responsibilities and Impact: Responsible for publication of data tables and dashboards for CSP Refining & Chemical deliverables. Improve and develop company financial models utilizing results from our asset level-based refinery and chemical models, RCMA & CCMA, respectively. Assist with making improvements to the newly developed RAPID (Refinery & Petrochemical Integrator & Decarbonizer) tool developing automation to add new technologies and to connect refinery output data Assist with refinery & chemical pricing databases to streamline the update processes Design, build, and deliver custom dashboards and reports through MS Excel/VBA and/or Power BI. Work with research team to support database consolidation and data verification required for research/consulting deliverables. Work with subject matter experts to determine and address data needs and develop research products as needed.
