Summary Responsible for IT infrastructure solution / service design on public cloud platforms (MS-Azure), based on functional/non-functional specifications, to meet quality and performance requirements and technical constraints. Manage cloud demands for multiple business functions.Job Title - Sr. Spec. DDIT IES Cloud EngineeringLocation - HyderabadManage design, implementation, and maintenance of Cloud hosting platform for Novartis business applicationsCreate the detailed infra design to operate the application software/services on a public cloud platform, primarily on Microsoft AzureEnsure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution, and operations of applicationsEnsure that detailed designs adhere to solution architecture design (i.e. high level conceptual design) and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in functional specificationEnsure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and servicesEnsure a holistic infrastructure view and overall user experience is taken into account when designing solutionsWork in close collaboration with Architecture, Security and Operations to integrate new solutionsEnsure timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions required for new projectsHelp to drive architectural improvements and standardization for the Cloud environmentsContribute to enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environmentAdditional Specifications Required for the Position:Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.MS-Azure Solution Architect certification8+ years of solid experience working in public cloud environments; delivering infrastructure and platform services across geographic and business boundariesMinimum 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience working in Solution Architect / design expert role for large enterprisesExperience with using a broad range of Azure services for enterprise scale solutionExperience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration Management technologiesKnowledge on hybrid public cloud design conceptsVery good understanding of Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS servicessource and application deployment issues.Why Novartis: Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend peoplexe2x80x99s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world.
