Sourcing & Procurement
Position Summary:
The Sourcing & Procurement will support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services necessary for our operations. This role will provide hands-on experience in supply chain management, vendor relations, and procurement processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supplier Management:
• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
• Support in maintaining and updating supplier databases.
• Help in developing and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and performance.
• Procurement Process:
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and procurement contracts.
• Help in the coordination and tracking of shipments and deliveries.
• Support in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures during the procurement process.
• Market Research:
• Conduct market research to identify trends and potential new suppliers.
• Assist in analyzing market conditions and potential risks to procurement activities.
• Data Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of data to support procurement decisions.
• Cost Analysis:
• Support the team in cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist in the evaluation of supplier quotes and negotiation processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, production, and finance, to ensure alignment in procurement activities.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and projects as needed.
• Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving measures.
• Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience: Previous internship or coursework in procurement, supply chain, or a related area is a plus.
• Other: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
