E-Commerce Sr Solutions Architect

What\'s this role about?

To be able to play the role of techno functional Ecommerce Architect and should be able to engage and provide consulting service to Ecommerce application head in IT and business owners of Ecommerce unit of the client (a well- known retailer). This retailer drives business under two major categories -one for Food & Grocery & other related to fashion, home & beauty and are in the process of entering into large digital transformation programme.

A self-driven individual who has a high quotient for problem solving, technical zeal in learning newer areas and has worked in a high demand work environment. Candidate would be involved in other client projects as well

Here\'s how you\'ll contribute:

Design, build and operationalize large scale enterprise commerce solutions and applications

Lead the creation of technology roadmaps and strategies that align with the business goals and provide thought leadership and guidance on technology solutions to support the organizations and client growth and efficiency.

Collaborate with business and technology client stakeholders to understand their goals and identify opportunities

Work with the team in capacity of Ecommerce Architect, leading technology design and implementation projects and provide mentorship to other architects and technical leaders.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and vendor solutions to effectively evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies that can enhance the organization\'s capabilities leading to increased opportunities with the clients

Ensure architecture decisions align with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Support the creation of business proposals including the review and response to RFP\xe2\x80\x99s.

Skills required to contribute:

Hands-on (Must have) 15+ years of working experience:

15-20 years of experience with last 5-7 years very good experience with eCommerce & digital commerce with Oracle Commerce as one of the preferred platforms

Experience of migrating eCommerce applications from Monolithic to Microservices Architecture

Very strong digital commerce practitioner with strong experience in headless commerce.

Knowledge of multiple technology domains, including cloud computing, data management, security and networks

Experience of developing and implementing Cloud Migration strategies for legacy systems and new applications

Experience in at least one of the Cloud Provides \xe2\x80\x93 AWS, Azure, GCP

Experience of different API Management solutions (IBM API Connect, MuleSoft, Azure, Amazon API Gateway etc.) for Retail Vertical and implemented for different customers

Knowledge of various Integration Strategies and integration experience for various customers

Help in providing optimum integration solutions for other related commerce ecosystem like PIM, Payments, Content & Experience Management system, Fulfilment solutions. These eco systems could be on premise / on cloud and also some of these could be integration with 3 party partner eco-systems.

Should also be able to provide directions to suggest what are the best possible technical products, solutions, architecture to support functional and non-functional requirements (such as load management, scalability management etc.)

Should have good understanding of how to get digital commerce solution into cloud and get system ready for unified commerce.

While Oracle Commerce experience is not a must but having Oracle Commerce experience and if there is an experience of moving digital commerce capability from Oracle will be considered as a bonus.

Excellent technical, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong client interaction experience.
