\xef\x82\xb7Experience with Vulnerability Management solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7You will help Oportun scale by hardening its security both internally and externally.
\xef\x82\xb7You will advise our technical teams on secure development practices and design patterns
\xef\x82\xb7Develop tools and features to monitor and improve our security stance.
\xef\x82\xb7You will help Oportun adhere to various compliance standards as it evolves its product and infrastructure
\xef\x82\xb7Identify security gaps in our application and infrastructure, and build to automate the identified gaps and innovative solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7You will partner with our Enterprise Security team and leverage their expertise where it is required.
\xef\x82\xb7A track record of proactively identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
\xef\x82\xb7Ability to build features as a software engineer in our codebase
\xef\x82\xb7You will have strong, but pragmatic, opinions and drive consensus to deliver timely results.
REQUITEMENTS
\xef\x82\xb75 years of security/engineer/technology work experience
\xef\x82\xb72 years experience with Linux /Unix operating systems
\xef\x82\xb7At least 1 year working in a software engineering or similar team
\xef\x82\xb7Experience with one or more modern programming/scripting language such as Ruby, Python, Golang, Nodejs, or Java like language.
\xef\x82\xb7Experience with Threat Modeling, Risk Assessment, or Design Review
\xef\x82\xb7Working in public clouds like AWS, GCP, or Azure as well as end to end vulnerability management lifecycle
\xef\x82\xb7A deep understanding of application security concerns
\xef\x82\xb7Excellent written and oral communication skills
\xef\x82\xb7Demonstrated ability to work with other teams within the same company
