About the role:


Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Software Engineer to join a team distributed between Gurgaon, India and Barcelona, Spain to create and expand integrations between different software systems. Gartner Digital Markets is a business unit within Gartner. What you will do:

CDP Development:

• Design and develop a scalable and robust internal CDP to manage and process customer data efficiently.
• Implement data ingestion pipelines using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.

Data Integration:

• Develop seamless integration with Oracle Eloqua to enable effective data transfer and utilization.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across different platforms and systems.

Database Management:

• Design and implement relational database models to store and organize customer data.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data security and compliance.

Real-time Data Processing:

• Utilize Apache Flink for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Develop and deploy data processing jobs to transform and enrich data streams.

Software Development:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Go (Golang).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Testing and Deployment:

• Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of the platform.
• Manage deployment pipelines and monitor system performance.

What you will need:

Strong IT professional with 4-6 yrs of experience in Golang application. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.


Must have:

• Proven experience in software engineering, with a focus on building data platforms or similar applications.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for data streaming and integration.
• Knowledge of relational database modeling and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with Apache Flink or similar real-time data processing frameworks.
• Experience integrating with marketing automation platforms like Oracle Eloqua is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
• Owns success - Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
• Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
