They develop custom applications, integrations, scripts, and automations to extend the functionalities of ServiceNow beyond its out-of-the-box capabilities.ITAM Expertise:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand IT asset management needs and challenges.
• Design and implement ITAM processes and workflows within ServiceNow's ITAM modules.
• Configure ITAM modules for software license tracking, hardware asset management, and contract management.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize IT asset data and optimize IT spending.

Development Skills:

• Develop custom applications, scripts, and automations using ServiceNow scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) to extend ITAM functionalities.
• Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with other modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB) for a holistic IT service management experience.
• Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with external systems (e.g., accounting systems, license management tools) for data exchange and automation.

Additional Skills:

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITAM architecture, functionalities, and best practices.
• Working knowledge of IT asset management principles and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, SAM).
• Experience with ServiceNow development best practices and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
