You will be working as Sr. Software Engineer at global grade 14 will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be a part of Motion Business for Drive Products division, located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology, software and/or solutions by contributing with own ideas. You will be working independently as a member of an R&D teamYour responsibilities Designing, coding and setting up automation-based unit testing of software products based on the requirements Developing solutions and successfully taking on complex technical problems and higher responsibilities Demonstrating innovation in processes followed and/or solutions delivered and encouraged it within the team Setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process Maintaining systems by identifying and correcting software defects and creating design documents, technical specifications, and test cases in line with quality systems Adhering to processing, defined software development methodologies and best practices within the team Providing estimating for work on effort and schedule to project manager and actively participate in preparing detailed project documentation Consulting internal and external stakeholders concerning maintenance and performance of software systems implementing software solutions Your background B.E / B-Tech -Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation engineering with 3 to 8 year\'s of industry experience Having a strong hands-on experience in windows application development using microsoft technologies Strong concepts on advanced C#.Net, OOPS, XML, LINQ and design patterns, design principles of WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), MVVM, Windows Application Development, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) Good experience on Nunit test, NSubstitute and azure and cloud development and required minimum 1 year experience basics of ASP.Net, Angular JS and having fair knowledge about agile or scrum Knowledge in communication protocols for e.g., Profinet, ModBUS and having experience in end-to-end product development using SDLC practices More about us ABB Drive Products is a technology leader serving industries, infrastructure and machine builders with world-class drives and softstarters.
