Sr Software Development Engineer We at AMD Pensando are looking for a software developer for the role of Software Development Engineer. You will be working on SDN solutions for our industry leading portfolio of network infrastructure accelerators. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies with ample scope to innovate. Responsibilities Develop SDN solutions/features using our industry leading smart NIC/DPU. Develop and maintain Software Development Kit delivered to customers. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm solutions and participate in peer code reviews. Take care of end-to-end test automation for features developed. Qualifications BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent. 3+ years of software development experience in any of the networking, storage, embedded or systems programming domains. Experience in any of the following technologies: Software Datapath (DPDK, VPP), P4 programming, Overlay networks, SDN controllers, Firewalls, Platform software, GRPC, High Availability, Hitless software upgrade/ISSU. Hands on programming experience in any of C, C++, Golang. Understanding of basic networking concepts. Experience with one or more of Cloud, Security, Datacenter networking is preferred.
