In this role, you will be responsible for driving businessdevelopment, managing client relationships, and meeting sales targets for drilling tools andconsumable product portfolio in the construction and Foundation industry. This is an excitingopportunity to be part of a leading global brand while driving business growth in a dynamic sector.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in the construction and Foundation industries within theChennai region. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve or exceed sales targets. Proactively seek out new business opportunities and generate leads. Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to secure repeat business.Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of drilling tools and consumable offerings andsolutions. Offer expert advice to clients on the features, specifications, and benefits of the products. Keep update of industry trends and technological advancements in drilling technology.Technical Expertise: Assess client needs and recommend suitable drilling solutions based on project requirements. Provide technical support and assistance during the sales process. Collaborate with the technical team to propose customized solutions when required.Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations to potential clients. Clearly communicate the value proposition of products and services. Effectively handle client inquiries, objections, and concerns.Quoting and Proposals: Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals for clients. Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals successfully.Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including client interactions, quotations, andsales progress. Provide regular sales reports to management, tracking performance against targets.Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in engineering (preferred). Experience: At least 4 years of proven sales experience, preferably with drilling tools orconsumable sales domain industries. Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude and the ability to recommend suitable solutionsto clients based on their requirements. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability topresent complex ideas clearly. Sales Performance: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Independence & Teamwork: Capable of working independently as well as collaborativelywith a team.
