Job Description


  • We require a young and dynamic sales professional who will be based in Gurugram and shall handle the complete sales operation starting from prospecting, application study, offering suitable product, negotiation, execution, and payment collection apart from catering training, guiding & supporting the business partner teams who are operating for the Northern states, specifically Delhi including NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh. His / Her major focus shall be required in quarry belts and among the contractors / hirers. The main products for which he / she needs to handle the total business operation across the assigned territory is hydraulic rock breakers. However he / she shall be responsible for the complete range of hydraulic attachments including demolition tools, drum cutters & plate compactors as well. Further, He / She should be well conversant with surface drills, underground equipments, as he / she will also be responsible for handling rock drilling tools business for few selective key accounts and / or specific territorry in the region. He / She needs to drive & develop these accounts for larger growth via customer satisfaction apart from handling & growing the retail market business for the said hydraulic attachment business. He / She must be a team player and work in co-ordination with the aftermarket and Epiroc\'s distributor team. He / She shall also be responsible for all the activities & performance of the distributors, must achieve sales targets with major focus across all the available segments in the region and to enhance market share in the given territory by creating new customer bases and enhancing existing customer shares.
  • To identify and focus on untapped area, explore new business opportunities and establishing products in the market through introduction of value-based sales concept followed by training and guidance to the dealer team to expand the reach and accelerate the business.
  • Tracking competition, their customers and supervising the performance of the competition product lines towards penetrating through it by pushing Epiroc products.
  • Proper analysis of TTM & market share and finally working on it towards continuous improvements.
  • Consult and support reporting manager and marketing in every step starting from submitting the proposal to till the execution obligations are accomplished.
  • Promotion & Sales of new / field tests products in the market with the help of application or technical services engineers.
  • Effective communication / co-ordination with the regional team, reporting manager, marketing team at Pune, the dealer teams and the customers is the essence of operation.
  • Good control on receivables is also a very required skill / quality to have.
Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
  • Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical/Production/Machinery/Metallurgy/Mining Engg.
  • Sales experience in construction and mining equipment industry for atleast for 5 years.
  • Fluent written/spoken/listening communication skills, multi-lingual having command on English, Hindi and some other North Indian language / accent.
  • Integrity, commitment and never give-up attitude.
  • Customer satisfaction, teamwork and collaboration within Epiroc as well as external stakeholders.
  • Decision making, good analytical skills, time management, adaptability and commercial awareness.
