The role is responsible for providing support to the U.S. based Manager Research Team, specifically the Quant/ reporting team. The role requires providing support to the team on reporting, building dashboards and assisting fundamental analyst on due diligence process.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare presentations for the Managed Accounts Investment Committee and work closely with Research Analysts, including participating in conference calls with investment managers and service providers and assisting in the selection and onboarding processes
2. Preparing different reports using Morningstar/ FactSet (like Behavioral reports, attribution reports, quant model, quilt charts etc.) for fundamental analyst that helps on product review
3. Work with Quant team on driving efficiency and analytics and maintaining data infrastructure for the team
4. Collaborate with different teams on process related to product removals, additions, and rating updates
5. Support consultants / advisors by preparing overlap reports that helps them to get best match for inbound/new clients
6. Applies analytical skills to understand the data & provide the required information to leadership

Required Qualifications

1. 3-5 years in Investment Research and Analysis for a US-based financial services firm
2. Excellent communication skills (needs to effectively work and stay in touch with US colleagues across different business units)
3. Ability to navigate ambiguity with minimal oversight / guidance
4. Passion for investments and familiarity of advanced investment concepts

Preferred Qualifications

1. Masters degree in business economics or finance / Alternatively Bachelors degree in quantitative field such as mathematics / computer science / or MCA and pursuing CFA may be acceptable
2. Strong analytical capabilities along with an expert level knowledge of MS Excel/VBA is a must with some data base management tools like Access/SQL.
3. Experience with and advanced knowledge of MS SharePoint with working on visualization tool like power BI is preferred
4. Exposure to financial tools such as Morningstar Direct, Factset and/or Bloomberg
