You will be working with Surgical Instrument CoE group wherein you will be involving on Design, CAD Robust Modelling , Drawings with strong GD&T application, Tolerance Stack up analysis, Test Fixtures Design , Prototype Building and applying your knowledge on medical devices/products.Medtronic is a world leader in providing health care products that benefit individuals\xe2\x80\x99 well-being. Our organization contributes directly to this mission.\xc2\xb7 Sr R&D Engineer Should have the very good experience on product development and cross-functional aspects.\xc2\xb7 Should be able to design plastic and metal components considering DFM,DFA and Cost.\xc2\xb7 Expertise in Robust Modeling and Detailing practices following the ASME guidelines.\xc2\xb7 Should be able to understand design problems and bring up optimal workable solution\xc2\xb7 The candidate must be able to communicate well with cross-functional team members, be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community.\xc2\xb7 Should perform engineering calculations and analysis to improve/validate product designs on a need basis\xc2\xb7 Should Run Finite Element Analysis, Mechanism Design and Analysis, Mold Flow etc to validate product designs on a need basis\xc2\xb7 Responsible for supporting the Product Development Team with application of design engineering to new product design.\xc2\xb7 Should be able to prepare 2D drawings per ASME Standards with sound knowledge on GD&T\xc2\xb7 Should create 3D CAD Models using Creo either from scratch or able to edit the complex models\xc2\xb7 Should be able to use windchill PDM link to manage CAD Data flawlessly\xc2\xb7 Show perform creating and releasing of Engineering Change Orders to ensure the changes are approved.\xc2\xb7 Should have an extraordinary communication in terms of articulating and writingMust-Have :\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 12 years of design experience.\xc2\xb7 Hands on CAD systems such as Creo \xe2\x80\x93 expert level (Drafting & Modelling) as well as data management systems such as Windchill , Creo Simuation and Creo Mechanism.\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Concept Development, Prototyping and Benchmark Testing\xc2\xb7 Very good verbal communications to interact with global partners .\xc2\xb7 Well verse in 1D, 2D and 3D Tolerance StacksNice to Have :\xc2\xb7 Medical Device Experience\xc2\xb7 Master Degree\xc2\xb7 GD&T Certification\xc2\xb7 Cetol\xc2\xb7 ANSYS or any equivalent Prediction SoftwareAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
