Your Role

• Leading the plant quality activities for product lines for screw compressor, piston compressor and CNG compressor.
• Attends all ANDONS at line (for quality problems).
• Communicate Andons and updated analysis status with all stake holders.
• Accountable for containment actions and corrective actions for line issues to run the line without quality problems.
• Accountable to find the root cause and implement solutions for all plant quality issues - from various sources such as Andons, product audit and warranty.
• Responsible to do process analysis emerging from Andons, product audit and warranty, and accountable to solve all the identified non-conformances.
• Participate in New Product Development and responsible for product qualification reviews - as per new product development requirement.
• Coordinate IQPR Collaboration meetings to use 8D methodology as problem solving tools for all the internal high severity issues.
• Maintenance and Compliance of IMS System for all aspects related to ISO 9001 certification.
• Act as Management Representative for ISO 13485 for its implementation along with the involvement of cross functional team and certification activity.
• Responsible for the Air power parts (CKD) quality issues and taking corrective & preventive actions.
• Collaborating with product and process auditors to solve the issues identified during audits.
• Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of line issues tracker with all the required details.
• Responsible for monitoring and achieving monthly and yearly targets and KPI goals for plant quality activities.
• Develop and implement the incoming inspection plan for identified non-Zero-Defect Supply parts.
• Supporting to complete the calibration activities for tools and instruments.
• Develop and implement the plan for incoming inspection activities for critical identified NZDS parts.
• Constructively participate in TCM, PQM, PTM and DN forums.
• Constructively participate in Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) and use experience to support the teams in the root cause analysis. As an expert in technical problem solving, assisting the team in choosing the proper method based on the complexity of the problem.
• Participate in the continuous improvement activities in the company (Kaizen events etc..) with the aim of identifying best practices affecting Product Quality and ensuring that these are properly documented and transferred wherever possible so that all relevant products benefit from the learning point.
• Propose process improvement wherever relevant to improve the organization learning and control over Product Quality. You are the owner of the Check and Act of the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) cycle.
• Cooperate with the other Product Companies within Compressor Technique to share and transfer knowledge from and to PC Dapodi. Identify the best practices from similar industries and bring them back in the Atlas Copco Group whenever relevant.

To succeed, you will needExperience Required

• 12-15 years of working experience in rotating equipment manufacturing/Automobile industry.
• ISO 9001 lead auditor will be an added advantage.
• Command on English Language.
• Excellence on IT tools like SharePoint, MS office, MES.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of rotating products and parts. Added advantage of having experience in various types of compressors, pumps.
• Good command on drawing reading.
• Understanding and interpretation of GD&T.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments for parts inspection.
• Knowledge of 7QC tools (eg. Pareto Chart, why-why analysis), 8D analysis, Kaizen, RCA, CAPA
• Knowledge of non-destructive tests i.e. RT, UT, MPT & LPT.
• Knowledge about parts packaging to prevent transportation damages, rust prevention etc.

Educational Requirements * Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with relevant experience.

• M-Tech/MBA will be an added advantage.
