• Inspection of Fabricated, Casted / Forged and Machined Suppliers parts at Receipt Inspection
• Reporting of Quality deviations in data base and communicate to Suppliers for corrective actions.
• Resolve Supplier\xe2\x80\x99s Quality issues on Shop floor and ensure adequate corrective actions.
• Product and Process Quality Audits and Inspection at Suppliers
• Establish Inspection protocol for new service offerings.
• Ensure on time gauges and instruments calibration.
• Support to Suppliers for process improvement
• Maintain ISO 9001 QMS documentation.
• Performing preliminary & final inspection using applicable gauges, DP testing including post cleaning for DP test, conducting hydro test, Welding inspection of Conveyor, dimensional inspection of Conveyor, handling of gauges by own, verification of conveyor balancing report, in process inspection of Conveyor, put away of conveyor and updating quality records on hard copy and soft copy.
• Performing bowl parts and bowl assembly inspection by conventional gauges by referring drawings/ BOM/ DSS/ ERP. Visual inspection of parts. Performing in process inspection of parts on Mfg machines. Help in setting of gauges for inspection to machining operators. Put away and updating inspection records in hard and soft copy...
• Final Inspection of Decanters, HSS and PHE after testing as per Order specification, drawings and BOM from ERP.
• (Take bowl heat no, make Specification sheet, do inspection, collect all report like test, leak test all balancing, electrical, loose supply, Predispatch etc.)
• Inspection of loose supply and spare items for Decanters, HSS and PHE as per Order specification and BOM.
• Maintaining the traceability records of major items of Decanter.
• Verification of all test reports such as FAT, balancing reports, noise test reports, leak test reports etc.
• Making the documentation for Customer inspection as per standard QAP.
• (Make all doc scanning reports and load all doc and photos on common folder)
• Sending the relevant test documents to Customers.
• Attending the Customer Inspection.
• Maintaining final QA documentation.
• Maintaining calibration of gauges from Assembly.
• Recording Quality deviations in Deviation data base.
• Ensuring corrective actions on deviations.
• Communication within team for the issues/corrective action/ improvement, etc.
• Participate in PRP, raise Quality cards on CSB, ensure corrective and preventive actions on deviation. Update monthly quality records and Deviation data base. Maintain Quality documentation of related area.
• Customer claim investigation, RCA and Corrective actions

Who you are?

• Knowledge of welding as well as machining processes
• Analyze process deviations/ root cause analysis and solutions.
• Initiate KAIZENs for QA improvements in house.
• Basic understanding of gauge calibration, MSA, FMEA, etc.
• Implement 5 S in related QA area.
• Maintaining inspection documents for Customers.
• Daily tracking of quality issues/deviations and highlight in meeting, ensure corrective actions.
• Zero inspection errors/inaccuracy during inspection.
• Drive small projects for process improvements.
• Control of quality, deviations and line stops, whenever required.
• Ensure internal/external customer satisfaction regarding inspection processes.
• By own presence resolve the Quality issues & communicate to all accordingly to all stake holders.
• Work in line with defined HSE practices.
• Travel to all service centres, customer sites and supplier sites as an when required

Workplace

• Minimum 5-10 years quality control department from engineering industries, Automotive organizations.
