As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for Test Strategy Creation, Leading module or component testing, Testing Automation Framework Development Contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across business; Leading software quality engineering discussions and mentoring of other junior quality engineers. you will be responsible for crafting and developing different types of automated verification tests and test suites, test framework to ensure quality of complete applications/services

Roles and Responsibilities & Technical Expertise

• Proficient in Java and Python with extensive hands-on experience.
• Use test automation techniques (data-driven, pairwise, mocking, test hooks) suited to the problem space.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and VBScript.
• Mastery of leading automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, etc.
• Develop test automation framework using Selenium, Python, BDD, Gherkin, and Cucumber Framework.
• Design, implement, execute, and enhance product and system-level test coverage using the BDD framework.
• Lead testing activities and automation for each software release.
• Experience in Load and performance testing
• Expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure.
• Skilled in writing code that serves as a learning tool for other developers and in integrating project testing with the continuous integration process.
• Responsible for defining, implementing, and executing testing strategies for multiple applications/projects.
• Build an integrated testing and quality assurance framework for software systems.
• Establish processes, guidelines, and metrics for consistent and accurate quality assessment.
• Support the selection and configuration of tools to enhance testing efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure the engineering team's adherence to quality practices.
• Analyze complex software systems and design testing strategies accordingly.
• Act as a key driver in defining and guiding the process for rapid, quality software releases.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies.
• Communicate methods, findings, and hypotheses with technical partners.
• Appropriately reuse existing code wherever possible and coach other developers to improve their code quality.
• Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams.
• Determine and promote testing best practices and principles across the organization.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent reporting, time management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
• Provide functional and technical expertise in bug fixes.
• As a quality engineering expert, manage test strategies, plans, procedures, and methodologies for software projects.
• Understand designing and coding for testability to produce high-quality code at the lowest cost.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading in defining, implementing and execution of testing strategies for multiple applications/projects.

• Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.

Qualifications/Requirements :

• Engineering/MBA degree or related from premier institutes
• A minimum of 8+years of professional experience in software system/subsystem testing with key focus on automation.
• Well versed with various software architecture frameworks
• Strong handson experience in various automation testing technology skill sets and tools
• Strong expertise in various API and UI testing frameworks
• Strong experience with Continuous Integration(Jenkins, Docker, AWS etc) process
