Scope: Recommends and engineers software to manage all area of the business\'s software and product testing. This could involve creating test plans, creating test documentation, finding errors, and looking over QA reports. You should have in-depth knowledge of analytics, advanced problem-solving abilities. Our current technical environment: Software :C#, .Net , Azure, GIT, Rest API, OAuth, Powershell Application Architecture : Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture Cloud Architecture : MS Azure Frameworks/Others : Azure Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, CosmosDB, GIT, WebDriverIO, .net Framework What you\'ll do: Develops and maintains test cases for a relevant product. Develops and maintains test data for a product. Executes the test cases and scenarios of all major modules and publishes the results. Writes and maintains the test automation scripts. Reviews automated and manual tests, and suggests options to improve coverage and quality. Identifies and implements quality improvement suggestions within the team. Identifies and reports software defects in an appropriate manner and follows the defined defect lifecycle. Works as required with appropriate parties to plan test resource requirements. Provides required inputs in the planning and execution of system and regression testing. Understands business requirements provided. Follows standard development processes and procedures. Plans and prioritizes work tasks with input from their manager. Proactively notifies managers of impairments to commitments. Assists in the collection of test metrics, understands the trends, and suggest appropriate corrective actions. Participates with the entire team in setting the quality standards for a product. Provides cross-training and education to test personnel as required. Provides training, guidance, and feedback to testing team members. Often provides training, guidance, and feedback to testing team members. Is part of a self-organized agile team and interacts with team members on release deliverables. Assists team members in supporting customer and implementation-related issues. Provides inputs in defect triage meetings and assists team members in troubleshooting the root cause of complex customer issues. Is responsible to install and configure large and complex systems for solution testing and test drives with minimal support. Is capable of writing and maintaining the test automation scripts along with developing and maintaining the test automation (such as UI, Batch, and API) frameworks. Participates in reviews of automated and manual tests, and frequently suggests options to improve coverage and quality. Works with the team in setting the quality standards for a product. Works towards effective utilization of test management (such as HP QC and JIRA) and test execution tools (automation frameworks) for a project\'s needs. What we are looking for: 5-8 years of candidate with experience in Functional testing of Web applications and APIs Should have experience in writing automation scripts using Selenium and executing them periodically. Should have good experience using Postman, SoapUI etc. Experience with JavaScript, JMeter, C# and Visual Studio Experience in writing Performance tools such as JMeter / Load Runner etc. Should have good experience in writing detailed test cases and manually execute. Understand and follow testing standards and procedures Should have worked in an Agile development environment Should work with the development team to provide inputs to fix issues and possible solutions to problems Should have experience in writing business requirement documentation Provide required inputs for test plan preparation and for different test phases. Should have experience either with JIRA or any other defect tracking tools (bug life cycle) Preferably have an understanding of Retail / Supply Chain domains Often provides training, guidance, and feedback to testing team members.
