We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, and services necessary for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the company's goals and objectives.
• Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Supplier Management:
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and continuously seek new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Inventory and Cost Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess stock.
• Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Implement cost-saving measures and negotiate favorable terms to optimize procurement costs.
• Order Processing and Management:
• Oversee the entire order process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or payment in a timely manner.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain and procurement processes.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to keep the team updated on best practices and industry trends.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Use data-driven insights to improve procurement processes and strategies.
