As the Product Manager for the Amazon Future Engineer (AFE) Career Access program in India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and driving the end-to-end lifecycle of this flagship initiative. With a focus on expanding access to computer science education and creating meaningful career opportunities in tech industry for women students coming from UU families, you will lead a suite of products, including the AFE scholarship and internship program, while developing new career access offerings. Key job responsibilities
As the Sr Product Manager , your key responsibilities will include: 1. Strategic Vision and Roadmap Development: Have a deep understanding of the target customer segment, market trends, and competitive landscape to define a compelling product vision and roadmap for the program. Continuously refine this vision in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and maximum impact. 2. Program/Product Design and Optimization: Design and deliver innovative, user-centric products and services that enhance the scholars\' readiness for internships and tech careers. This may include developing scalable learning and development solutions, streamlining the application and selection process, and creating personalized support systems for scholar. 3. Operational Excellence: Partner with internal teams to integrate the AFE internship program seamlessly with Amazon\'s campus hiring and talent management systems. Leverage data and technology to drive process improvements, enhance program efficiency, and enable data-driven decision making. 4. Stakeholder Management and Advocacy: Secure strategic buy-in and sponsorship from senior leaders across the organization by presenting data-driven insights and recommendations. Advocate for the program\'s importance and collaborate with leaders to secure the necessary resources and support for its success. 5. External Partnerships and Impact Maximization: Cultivate relationships with non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and other ecosystem partners to identify and select high-potential scholars. Leverage these partnerships to extend the program\'s reach and maximize its social impact.

A day in the life
As the Sr. Product Manager-AFE, your day blends strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution - always with a customer-centric focus. On any given day, you could be organizing an in-person tech talk with a senior Amazon India leader, watching proudly as scholars engage and gain industry insights. You might be deep diving into stakeholder requests and partner collaborations, to automate repetitive tasks, while building mechanisms to scale college and career access for your customers - underserved and underprivileged students.
