Summary:
Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A Core Domain Expert is responsible for providing in-depth technical expertise and leadership in the core network domain of telecommunications. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing core network solutions to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on core network technologies, including 3G, 4G, 5G, and beyond.
• Network Design: Design and architect core network solutions, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Implementation: Oversee the deployment and integration of core network components, including EPC, IMS, and other core elements.
• Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize core network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including RAN, transport, and IT, to ensure seamless network operations.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.


Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Extensive experience in the telecom industry, with a focus on core network technologies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in core network protocols and technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G, IMS, EPC), network design principles, and network optimization techniques.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, 5G certifications) are a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Experience:• Experience with network virtualization and cloud-native core network solutions.
• Familiarity with telecom standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of successful core network deployments and optimizations.
