Roles & Responsibilities: • Working with both internal and external stakeholders to understand the process requirements and design the system accordingly
• Selection, sizing, and design of process equipment such as pumps, separators, columns, etc.
• Selection of Instrumentation and Valves for the process.
• Preparation of datasheets and collaborating with procurement team & OEMs.
• Collaborate with other product development teams to continuously develop the prototypes and technology.
• Build and modify test skids as per the prototype operating requirements.
• Performing safety reviews of Process plant designs.
• Preparation and review of Engineering documents such as PFD, P&ID, Layouts, and 3D models.

Must have: • 5-10 years of experience in process plant design, preferably in continuous process plants.
• Experience in process scale-up.
• Sound knowledge of instruments and valves selection.
• Ability to read and review Layouts, 3D models of plant.
• Sound knowledge in piping design.
• Knowledge in design of columns and separators.
• Sound knowledge in industrial operations and practices.
• Worked with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge in Project cost estimation.

Should have: • Bachelor's/master's degree in chemical engineering or similar.
• Experience designing systems for hazardous products (gases/liquids etc.)
• Experience with process safety and risk assessment procedures (HAZOP etc.)
• Knowledge on relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Technical ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Nice to have: • Knowledge of Electrochemistry.
• Experience in high pressure gas processing system design.
• Knowledge on EPC of process plant
• Lead a team of size 3-5
