:Key Deliverables\xef\x82\xb7 Planning & Scheduling\xef\x82\xb7 Progress Monitoring & Reporting\xef\x82\xb7 Raw Material Planning & Quantity ControlKey RelationshipsInternal to Organization: Related Functional Departments & it\'s EmployeesExternal to Organization: Vendor coordinationResponsibilities:Prime Responsibilitieso Responsible for generation of documents such as project plan, work breakdown structure, overall and detailed schedule, raising purchase requests in SAP system, progress reports and presentations during the management reviews and execution under the guidance of Project Control Manager.o To prepare detail L-2, L-3 schedules using software packages such as MS Project and rigorous monitoring of project implementation. The major activities required to be performed are preparation of master schedule, alignment of functional schedule for procurement and receipts with overall schedule, data collection for scheduling, develop network logic, actual Vs. schedule progress, forecasting, trend analysis, resources planning.o Monitor critical path & overall schedule on a daily basis by collecting necessary data for the same. Prepare catch up plans, look ahead plans based on inputs from respective sources and report to Project Control Manager.o Prepares progress measurement system procedures and carry-out project progress update on stipulated intervals and supports Project Control Team.o Highlighting the resource constraints that affect project progress.o Identify requirement of revision in schedule, raise alert of same to Project Control Manager and carry out revision in schedules.o Preparation of Project Completion Booklet post Project completion & closure.Shared cross-functionallyo Coordinate the cross function discussions, identify the critical activities and supports required for different function and facilitate the project progress.o Providing planning related input in preparation of extension of time request to client.Key competencies \xe2\x80\x93 Functional Need to have\xef\x82\xa7 Experience of planning cycle in Middle / Large sized projects from concept to execution at shop floor & dispatch\xef\x82\xa7 Must have completed minimum one Project Cycle as a planner\xef\x82\xa7 Hands-on Experience on MS Projects / Primavera Nice to have\xef\x82\xa7 Exposure to Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Controlling functions for entire Projects including Resource Planning, Recovery / Crash Planning\xef\x82\xa7 Strong analytical skills\xef\x82\xa7 Monitoring and tracking project progress and writing up reports\xef\x82\xa7 Attending and scheduling meetings as required.\xef\x82\xa7 Understanding and meeting all project planning requirements & deliverables.\xef\x82\xa7 Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the team.\xef\x82\xa7 Analyzing technical drawings and providing material estimates\xef\x82\xa7 Ensuring all projects are completed on declared timelines\xef\x82\xa7 Strong multitasking abilities\xef\x82\xa7 Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills\xef\x82\xa7 A sound understanding of safety protocols\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines\xef\x82\xa7 Increases Project team members awareness of the Project Milestones, main durations and critical paths\xef\x82\xa7 Monitors and controls the project status, to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions\xef\x82\xa7 Acts as single point of accountability for all planning scheduling activities on a project\xef\x82\xa7 Highlights areas of concerns and solutions to help achieve a successful and timely completion of Projects\xef\x82\xa7 Operationally manages the project Planning Team\xef\x82\xa7 Provides Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of Planning Department\xef\x82\xa7 Project progress review, report preparation and backlog analysis.\xef\x82\xa7 Should have good communication and presentation skill.\xef\x82\xa7 Review of Engineering drawings from manufacturability point of view.\xef\x82\xa7 Development of work planning procedures based on project requirements, applicable standards and good engineering practices.\xef\x82\xa7 Extracting scope of work from Project Management Team document and preparation of BOQ from engineering drawings\xef\x82\xa7 Project PR preparation and review of project procurement status & extensive follow-up with purchase team
