Job Description

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Chemical/Petrochemical)

Piping Course/ Certification from reputed institution will be an added advantage.



Experience: 2-5 years (Piping Engineer) & 5-10 years (Senior Piping Engineer)



:- Should have prior working experience in O&G/Well Head Platform:



Hands-on experience on basic engineering principles, documents and drawing Preparation and review, 3D tools, stress analysis, etc.



Through Knowledge of engineering practices, economics aspects, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.


• Sound Knowledge of Piping Materials, Layouts & Conversant with International Codes and standard.
• Preparation & review of piping deliverables- Plot plan, Equipment layout, Piping GA's, Isometrics, etc.
• Preparation of detail piping specification, pipe wall thickness calculation, data sheets for piping items (valves, SP items, etc)
• Preparation/checking of material take-off for piping systems, valve schedule
• Preparation of painting and insulation specification & BOQ
• Preparation of tenders/requisition for piping materials and technical discussion with client and vendors / Suppliers.
• Technical bid evaluation of vendor/supplier"s supplied material in accordance to the specific requirement.
• Carryout detail engineering after getting process flow diagram and operating conditions. Assist in Preparation and checking of overall plot plans, Equipment Layout, Isometrics & as-built drawings for the complete plant.
• Interfacing with other disciplines such as process, civil, electrical & instrumentation division.
• Validating and supervising technical documents.
• Site visits
• Prepare cost estimate, Techno-commercial offers for EPC & PC projects including preparation of bid packages, site visit prior to award of job.
• Stress analysis using CAESAR-II
• 3D tools (E3D/SP3D), Navis works
