Formulate and monitor inventory management and monitor adherence to the same; take corrective action in case of any discrepancies with the permission / authorization of CEO. Ensure timely movement of raw material/equipment and finished goods and oversee the inventory levels in the stores Ensure compliance with storage norms and corporate guidelines for various categories of raw materials, finished goods, etc.; initiate corrective action in case of deviatio Ensure conduct of internal and external audits at stores and take corrective action on the basis of the audit findings Monitor the timeliness of receipt of materials/products so as to minimize disruptions to the production schedule Ensure timely inspection of incoming as per the requirements of the user departments and QA norms Oversee all the internal reports like monthly stock ledger and physical reconciliation report etc. Ensure appropriate documentation of supply chain processes including inventory database, stores receipts, relevant permits and declarations. Set up channels of communication with other Departments to keep them updated on the status of inventory Develop a process for identification of dead goods inventory and waste materials including scrap disposal or scrap sale in consultation with MD Ensure compliance to all relevant regulatory and corporate guidelines pertaining to store operations Support execution of the production plan in line with the overall sourcing and production strategy through effective coordination among internal teams and Third party carriers Coordinate the inspection of procured by Quality Control before issue to production Work closely with the Supplier and customer to identify the transportation channel appropriate for the nature of the procured materials Update inventory information and status of goods in transit using Tally ERP and ensure timely updating of information to all stakeholders i.e. Production, Sales etc Maintain up-to-date documentation of stores activities. Ensure that stores products are packed as per recommended packing and ready for issue in timely manner Participate in Internal and External audits pertaining to logistics & Stores. Monthly reconciliation of stock lying at vendor / job worker Reconciliation of customer accounts & receipts (Quarterly)
