What success looks like in this role:

• Solid Knowledge/Hands on experience on Firewalls(PaloAlto/Fortigate/Checkpoint).

• Solid Knowledge/Hands on experience on Load balancers(F5)z

• Solid Knowledge/Hands on experience on Proxies, Remote access vpn

• Provides mostly tier 2 (and sometimes tier 3) support within the network security environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Successful provisioning as well as supervision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This also includes the installation of new systems, rebuilding existing systems, configuration of hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with customer/ government standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains, monitors and troubleshoots within the roles of Incident Management (Return-to-Service) and/or Problem Management (Reason for Outage). \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluates a system\xe2\x80\x99s performance and identifies user needs based on approved software per customer specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Works with team to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may assist with system design efforts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contributes to the preparation and presentation of technical trade-offs and/or results to managers, customers and peers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Works closely with network operations, systems and other groups on business projects, assignments, problems, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures proper documentation for the corporate knowledgebase, including design, procedural and lessons learned. This also includes maintaining and updating existing documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitors the Network and System Enterprise with provided tools to ensure the health of the critical client solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains on-call availability to respond to network issues and up-time; must be flexible and available with the scheduling. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contributes to technical artifacts through team/program SharePoint and/or communities of practice.

#LI-CM1You will be successful in this role if you have:

• University degree or equivalent education and experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 6 years domain experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledgeable in evaluating vendor products and making recommendations to purchase hardware and software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledgeable in setting up administrator and service accounts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledgeable in network security procedures, best practices, and implementation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to troubleshoot software issue and customer applications as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Has achieved industry standard certifications: e.g.: Security+, CCNP, CCNA, Network+, MCSA. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient documentation skills are required.
