You Are: Sr. Network Engineer The Opportunity : We are looking for a network engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and administering Applied Materials Network Infrastructure. Your primary duties will include maintenance of Network hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also be working closely with the local Service providers and Vendors in order to identify potential issues and fix existing problems. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired. What you need: Hands-on experience in network hardware devices Cisco 6509, Nexus 6K,7K switches & Cisco ASR/ISR routers, Arista switches and catalyst 2k, 3k and 4k, Cisco 29xx, Aruba Wireless controllers. Experience in designing, implementing and managing LAN /WAN Switching environments and resolving problems associated with it. Good knowledge of VMWare SD-WAN Good Understanding of TCP/IP, Routing protocols, Load balancing concepts Good understanding of Logical support in routing, switching and security related issues. Good understanding on High Availability, resiliency setup & performing regular health checks on infrastructure devices. Good knowledge and hands-on experience of switching protocols STP, Stacking, VSS, VTP, HSRP, TCP flags, and routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP and BGP Good knowledge on AVI/F5 Load balancing concepts with WAF and LTM solutions Working expertise on Aruba Wireless controllers / access points installation, configuration, and up-grades Good knowledge and hands on experience with Infoblox - DHCP/DNS configurations. Exposure on configuration & troubleshooting various Tunnel methods like GRE/IPSEC/IP IP . Hands on experience using and administering Aruba\'s AirWave application. Strong understanding of QoS configurations to support the WAN and enterprise standards. Perform upgrades, troubleshoot and fixes of network hardware, software and configuration issues. Good Knowledge in analyzing the Network Packet capturing during incident. Experience in maintaining and Configuring VPN as Site to Site and Remote Access 5 to 8 years of experience in handling enterprise Network Architecture Bonus points if: Good Knowledge and experience of Palo Alto & Fortinet Firewalls. Good knowledge of Cloud networking technologies of VPNs, Transit Gateways/VWAN, Peering connections, WAF, cloud design, architecture, and services.
