The Sr manager will be responsible for managing teams of senior data engineers, API developers, analysts, leads, and providing strategic guidance to stakeholders on data related projects. This role requires a strong background in architecture, design , APIs, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.The role is required to partner with multiple stakeholders spanning business and technology to look at project delivery from a data delivery perspective, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled delivery team. Deliver projects and products using the appropriate methodology, learning & iterating frequently. Defining project needs and feeding these into the program/portfolio process to improve the data life cycle looking at all aspects encompassing data publication, data curation, data security and data availability.

• DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts, developers, quality analysts and SMEs, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team\'s success.
• Have technical competencies to act as a SME, mentor and be able to interface with Architects and senior leadership in areas of design, strategy, and best practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, understanding their project needs, maintain strong stakeholder relationships and align services to their objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and agile delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
• Conduct analysis and develop insights, reports, and procedures to support projects. Ensure that recommendations are based on accurate and meaningful data.
• Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on data/API related matters including data and API strategy, data/API governance and best practices.
• Implement quality control processes to maintain the highest standards of accuracy, security, and integrity.
• Identify opportunities for cross platforming and leveraging common services to stakeholders while contributing to the development of new business processes.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Master\'s degree in related systems or business field is strongly desired.

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience including at least five (5) years of experience directly managing people, preferably experience in managing Level 1 managers, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people.
• Experience with Defined benefit/Defined Contribution/Wealth management fundamentals is an added advantage.
• Hands on experience on AWS cloud services in the realm of APIs and Big Data
• Experience with complex environments and high-volume data stores driving business critical applications.
• Experience with multiple technologies that align with a full stack philosophy, including but not limited to Java, Springboot, Kafka, multiple databases (Oracle/Sybase, Redshift, RDS) and AWS services (EMR, Lambda, Cloud Formation, API gateway, ECS etc), scripts (batch/Shell).
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics tools is a plus. Tools may include SAP Data Services, Informatica, Tableau, SAS, Quicksight etc.
