About The Company:

The Role:

As a manager, O&M will be responsible for effective implementation & maintenance of Integrated management system (QMS, EMS & OHSMS). Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Look after entire Power plant with all its auxiliaries Operation and Maintenance. Also meet requirement of advance technology and automation according to new modification.
• Maintain minimum inventory to running of the plant with maximum equipment efficiency. Awareness of SAP. Make material as well as service purchase requisition raising, material follow up and Quality inspection.
• Should have knowledge about Boiler & Turbine operation and its auxiliary equipment like BFP, Deaerator, AOP, EOP, CWP, ACW pumps, RO/DM Plant and etc.
• Should initiate corrective and preventive actions, implementation of preventive, predictive maintenance plan, breakdown maintenance, also planning the activities for the plant shutdown/Boiler annual inspection, Turbine servicing etc.
• Should have good knowledge of government standards for Power plant operational norms i.e Pollution control, Waste management, Environment, ISI, ISO standard etc.
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations of the plant and requiring coordination with other departments.
• Should be responsible for effective implementation & maintenance of Integrated management system (QMS, EMS & OHSMS) in the department.
• Provide resources for Objectives & Targets, motivate subordinates & colleagues, monitor all activites of Power plant, Ensuring effective internal communication inside the plant & same reporting to HOD.
• Should have excellent awareness about safety rules & regulation of people as well as equipments. Testing and calibration of loading & unloading equipments, pressure vessels, safety belts etc.
• Monitoring daily Power generation, water and chemical consumption, Utilization of plant capacity and efficiency, Maintenance activities and reporting to HOD.

Skills Required:

• Experience in Power Plant.
• Experience in Operations Maintenance, Inventory Management, Boiler Operations, Turbine Operations, Preventive Actions, Pollution Control, and Waste Management

Other required Skills-

• First Aid Training, Safety Awareness.

• Good Communication and Presentation Skills.
• Problem Solving Skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BE (Mech.) / DME with boe
• 10 to 15 years of O&M experience of boiler and condensing turbine with hands on experience 20 to 100 mw capacity power plant.

Important: Age Criteria- Maximum age limit for this role is 37 Years
