About Corporate Security Asia:



A role within Corporate Security Asia means working with a team dedicated to protecting the Target team, guests, property, and brand. You will use our comprehensive understanding and management of evolving security risks to protect our Target community throughout the world. You may support mission by generating intelligence & awarene ss, ensuring protective security, providing incident response, Physical Security and Safety & continuity procedures in the event of incidents or crisis.





The Sr. Manager Corporate Safety and Security Asia leads a team of professionals who enable safe and secure business operations at Target India's corporate location. This position develops, implements, supports, and executes security programs and processes to maintain a safe workplace environment. The Sr. Manager will engage with the corporate team member population in all aspects of incident response, investigation, special event support, and overall safe and secure culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of security professionals, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and performing at their best.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and readiness of the security team consisting of team members, contractors and security staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of security-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new and existing facilities.
• Evaluate and implement security technologies and systems to enhance the overall security posture.

Security Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive physical security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Manage access control systems, surveillance systems, and other physical security infrastructure.

Security Leadership:

• Exhibit strong leadership qualities, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure.
• Serves as a resource to internal leaders and team members, as well as external public and private partners or agencies. Troubleshooting and researching questions, communicating subject matter expertise, and providing benchmarking information are a regular activity.
• Develops a deep understanding of current and emerging risks to apply security risk framework processes to minimize impact.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and security vendors.
• Building creative solutions to engage TMs and build security awareness.

Budget Management:

• Forecast security requirements and plan for budget.
• manage the physical security budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high security standards.

Security Policies Implementation:

• Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive physical security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company's assets, team members, and information.
• Building measures to ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards/ business purpose and reviewing them periodically.
• Exploring solutions to enhance efficiency on each security process.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and security operations to senior management.

Event Security Management

• Leads on-site special events including safe and secure plans, VIP support and events, to ensure all plans are executed as expected.
• Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Reporting/Working Relationships:



This position will report directly to the Regional Director Corporate Security Asia. The Sr. Manager leads the Corporate Safety and Security Asia team and will also interact with Corporate Command Center, Global Investigations, Corporate Real Estate, Executive Services, Corporate Security Operations, Communications, various levels at TII, Owned Brands and stakeholders at Headquarters.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Six to eight years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong passion for delivering a great guest experience with every interaction.
• Strong inter-personal and networking skills to interact in a friendly, emphatic, and professional manner.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented with an ability to prioritize.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations.
• Ability to multi-task and use various resources to proactively answer questions, identify problems, and perform activities to resolve issues.
• Able to work with confidential information.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership.
• Ability to work in fast paced and changing environments.

Desired Requirements:

• Higher education or certifications.
• Additional training or knowledge of physical security, crisis management, and team leadership.
• Experience and interest in project management involving physical security, technology, and strategy.
• Knowledge in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 360, and SharePoint).
• CPP or similar credentials.
