Sr. Mechanical Technician
Job Description
Responsibilities :
? Primary responsibility of maintenance and overhauling of pumps at factory as per the direction given by the HOD
? Alignment of Induction Motor for Pumps and checking the performance of the pumps on Test Bed
? Measuring the clearances and fitment of correct spares for pumps received at the factory
? Required knowledge about mechanical Seals
? Required experience in commissioning of pumps, Installation, Calibration, Troubleshooting, Breakdown Maintenance
? Responsible for identifying the spares for the pumps supplied to the customer
Requirements
? Diploma in Engineering Preferable (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation)/ITI
? Knowledge of Pump including Centrifugal Pumps, AOD pumps, Dosing Pumps, Gear Pumps, Screw Pumps, Valves, motors, gear boxes, control panels, blowers, compressors helpful
? Working knowledge of Reactors, Gauges, Actuators, Mixers preferred
? Candidates with Previous experience or knowledge of Induction Motor alignment, troubleshooting and fitment will be considered
? Working knowledge of Engineering Drawings required
? Knowledge about the standards for flanges, piping, hoses and welding
