e-TRNL Energy is building the next-generation battery cell technology. Its approach to product development offers a compromise-free technology with simultaneous improvements on the safety, fast charging, life, and energy density fronts while improving scalability and reliability in manufacturing. e-TRNL Energy has recently closed its pre-seed funding round and is looking to accelerate its product development operations.

A potential candidate is an enthusiastic researcher at heart who has a strong desire to solve the challenges of scaling a product from the lab to the market. The candidate has an ability to refine the potential solutions and document those iterations to arrive at the optimal product viability goals. The candidate's strengths are rooted in fundamental sciences, new technologies and strong analytical skills, with survival tendencies in the entrepreneurial habitat.

Qualifications, education, skills, and/or experience:

• B.Tech. /M.Sc. or higher with a strong proficiency in fundamentals of materials, electrochemistry and/or new technologies
• Minimum 4 years of industry or academic research experience. PhD experience also counts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Must have inherent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Natural leadership skill

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The job would include fundamental research to undertake material selection, devising safe protocols including formulation of standard operating procedures for electrode optimization and cell fabrication.
• Charting of pathways for end-to-end supply chain of materials that includes but not limited to identification of suppliers, as well as basic due diligence on the supply chain prior to handing over to the procurement team.
• Documentation including testing analysis and reports, literature review, scientific publications, etc.
• Leading a team of young scientist and keeping them motivated to achieve their targets.

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
