• Lead a team of Information Technology professionals, ensuring the teams effectiveness and efficiency in delivering global and regional core IT services.
• Works with the leadership team to ensure alignment with global service delivery priorities and objectives.
• Establishes and manages department and individual resource goals. Oversees implementation of near-term and long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the team.
• Oversees the performance management and development process for assigned IT team members and performs performance management duties, development planning and coaching for direct reports.
• Ensures that team activities operate within the policies and procedures of the global IT organization. Evaluates and anticipates staffing needs. Recruits, interviews, and selects well-qualified staff.
• Builds and enables a team who establish effective and trusting working relationships with all their business and IT partners.
• Manages resource availability to continuously support the business. Identifies area for improvement. Develops an improvement program and monitors the implementation to increase process efficiency and improve service delivery.
• Establishes and maintains the overall work cadence and, in partnership with IT leadership, ensures performance and outcomes strive for excellence in delivery and customer experience. Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for projects and solicits input for continuous improvement.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and compliance responsibilities. Also ensures data quality, adherence to Global IT security guidelines, and other risk related metrics for self and members of the team.
• Provides escalation path for project issues, and guides team to resolution through technical expertise, business knowledge, and negotiation skills.
• Manages and monitors a queue of issues and changes for team to ensure timely resolution; ensures stakeholders are updated regularly on progress.

• Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant working experience
• 8+ years of experience leading IT Operations is preferred Experience working as part of multinational company, especially regional management experience is strongly preferred and experience working as part of matrixed management organization.
• Previous experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, HIPAA, etc.) a plus Strong understanding and technical knowledge of current network and operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards.
• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and applications (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) including AWS, GCP, Google Workspace, Okta, etc
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture concepts and technologies such as, cloud computing, software defined infrastructure, serverless compute, Microservices, etc
• DevOPS database development and administration
• Experience leading large, diverse teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting ideas, solutions, and concepts to others
