Role Title: Senior Manager - Wind Resource Assessment & Optimization Location: Delhi About Employer: One of the leading MNCs in the Energy sector Job Overview Responsible for Wind Resource Assessment (WRA) and optimization, including the identification of wind-rich sites, design of wind measurement campaigns, and contribution to the project pipeline for future development. This role involves wind data analysis, micro-siting, optimization, and Annual Energy Yield assessment for wind farms. Collaborate on load analysis with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to ensure a turbine lifespan of 20 years. Design wind farm arrays considering wake losses, construction limitations, development constraints, and land availability. Provide WRA support to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for Power Curve Verification Tests (PCVT). Responsibilities And Duties Identify new sites and initiate wind studies using masts/LiDAR according to IEC norms. Conduct macro and micro siting of wind farms. Perform uncertainty analysis. Manage databases and possess knowledge of various wind turbine types. Handle related contractors and consultants, Familiarity with asset management and performance improvement challenges and solutions. Skills And Attributes Required Apply knowledge of wind industry standards and practices in the field of wind resource assessment. Understanding of the environment and its impact on Wind Resource assessment and its optimization. Should be able to conduct risk/uncertainty analysis. Prioritize projects/tasks efficiently. Experience - 10-15 years of experience in Wind Resource Assessment. Qualification - Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) or equivalent degree.
