To understand the product portfolios and capabilities in-house with respect to solution building for clients in discrete material handling applications.
Make Frequent client visits based on appointments and understand the problem statement with the client and propose an appropriate solution.
Meet with customers, review jobsites. Develop close customer relationships with Key decision makers in purchasing, engineering, and at the customer end.
Must work with estimating to develop pricing and proposals, and negotiate contracts.
To Identify prospects based on our existing product Portfolio
To identify and generate new leads through site visits, Cold calls and emailers, through contacts and references
To make site/customer visits and make product presentation and solution development and Implementation
Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule with them.
To identify the customers needs through RFP or in discussion with the customers.
Deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers
To interact with potential clients, present organizational capabilities and generate leads based on the gap identified
To prepare cost estimation by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents in consultation with internal stakeholders.
Maintain constructive working relationship with customer.
Participate in Tenders with respect to government and private sectors for all product portfolios of SJK
Coordinate with Marketing and Digital marketing teams for product promotion and Business development
Responsible for techno commercial aspects of the company
Requirements/Skills and Abilities:
Masters in business administration with engineering degree, working level experience of above 10 years
Should have very good experience in Project Sales
Should have good experience in Controls and Automation Projects
Should have good experience in Material Handling Systems
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional sales acumen.
Ability to coordinate tasks in teams of varying sizes.
Experience with both controls and mechanical engineering is preferred.
Experience in dealing with automation technologies across all industries is preferred
Proficiency in speaking English and Hindi is preferred.
