Inviting applications for the role of Manager / Sr Manager- Record To Report Platform Specialist (Vertex Taxation), Responsibilities•

• •Co-responsible for ensuring the implementation of the tax platforms globally, following the CORE transition approach as an Individual Contributor (IC).•
• •Participates in deployment phase, by reviewing the solution documentation, such as user guides, training manuals and system specifications, prior to distribution to OpCo key-users & end-users, and ensures that the subject area is accurately represented•
• •Work with the tax platform Implementation Partners to gather, document and challenge specific local tax requirements following a zero-gap approach•
• •Thoroughly perform functional testing and support user acceptance testing of the solution and associated procedures to confirm that the primary business requirements are met•
• •Log issues and risks that surface during configuration, training or other team activities and follow-through on resolution of those issues•
• •Continuous improvement and keeping up-to-date of documentation (SOPs, process descriptions, sol ID materials, etc.)•
• •Support on on-boarding new team members in the functional area•
• •Experience with transactional taxes preferred•

• •Relevant years' experience in APAC taxation•
• •Experience being a user with any of the ERP such as:•

•o Vertex,•

•o Clear tax,•

•o Acumatica,•

•o Avalara•

• •Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office•
• •Challenging approach•
• •Influencing skills•
• •Strong, professional communication skills, able to approach Senior Stakeholders using appropriate level of detail and terminology.•
• •Planning and organizing skills, ability to see the big picture.•
• •Stress resistant•
• •Proactive with a can-do-attitude•

• •Fast learner with ability to adapt to change quickly.•
