About the Team


Lowe's Technology automation and productivity services tech team builds and buys tech tools and products the business to streamline tasks, boost productivity and empower our corporate, store and supply chain associates to focus on tasks on high strategic value. This team also builds and buys products for the legal and risk business function to enable them to efficiently and accurately manage the functional and operational accounting processes.

Job Summary:


We are looking for a Sr. Manager of product management for the Technology automation and productivity services domain, to lead robotic process automation, operations & service management, enterprise information management, facilities, legal and risk products and deliver significant business improvements.


The Sr Manager, Product Management leads a product team (typically 8-10 Product Managers or Associate Product Managers) responsible for multiple products. This role works with a high level of autonomy and discretion. Responsibilities include leading the team's research and product development efforts as well as implementation and execution of the product strategy. In addition, this role manages the various stakeholders and removes barriers for the team.



Although this role manages a team and its work on a set of products, the individual in this role also typically has responsibility for his/her own products and all strategic and tactical work associated with designing and delivering the products within scope of responsibility.



This individual manages people which includes responsibility for setting individual and team expectations, delegating assignments and managing performance, identifying talent needs, and coaching and developing team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Build OKRs for product scope to support product portfolio and organizational OKRs. Drive alignment with business partners
• Own customer/user journey for a given product or product features
• Take decisions that impact user experience on feature usability with engineering
• Define and measures customer success metrics (customer happiness, efficiency, ROI)
• Work autonomously to deliver towards OKRs
• Clearly articulate how product features relate to the product vision and build a roadmap for all partners
• Lead agile ceremonies and work with the team to provide clarity of expectations
• Prioritize independently and ensure the delivery, support, and execution of a high-quality product
• Influence features deliverables/trade-offs.
• Work with the product leadership and provide input for engineering priorities of their defined product space
• Align necessary workstreams from partners to achieve the value of their product.
• Build great stakeholder relationships and work with product leadership to manage expectations
• Participate in product marketing and use it to drive deep understanding of the product theyown withpeers and leaders.
• Drive product plans for their defined product space. Leverage data to help drive alignment
• Maintain collaborative working relationships/agreements to move work forward
• Define objectives and data required for analytics needed either independently or in conjunctionwith business partners for their product
• Provide input while partnering with leadership to develop OKRs/ metrics and create corresponding data/analytics to track the health and business impact. This includes functional and technical OKRs/metrics.
• Define key metrics of the product and consistently monitor health of the product independently
• Partner with engineering to build tracking/monitoring needed to get to the data

Years of Experience:

• 8 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management or product marketing.

Required Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

• 8 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management or product marketing
• 4 years of experience in product and/or experience management
• 5 years of strategy and delivery experience in executing world-class digital products and/or experiences
• 4 years of experience in translating business strategy into specific product features
• 3 years of experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
• 4 years of experience working with technology and user experience teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements
• 3 years of demonstrated delivery of business results
• 3 years of experience in an agile software environment
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large organization
• Demonstrated experience working closely with senior leadership

Secondary Skills (desired)

Secondary Skills

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar advanced degree
• 2 years of experience leading the digital product roadmap
• Prior leadership with a top 25 omni-channel retailer
• 2 years managing operational and/or project financial budgets
• CSPO Certification
• Strong financial acumen
• Experience collaborating closely with senior leadership
• Experience providing guidance and direction to cross-functional resources
• 2 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility
