JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Sr. Manager (Engineering & Development)

Years of Experience 10 to 15 years

Location Chinchwad, Pune

The Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department and ensuring successful development and delivery of high-quality food processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities & Job Profile

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering & development team.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in engineering principles, design process, and manufacturing techniques.
• Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring products meets market needs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, and Manufacturing, to align product development with business objective.
• Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
• Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering

Department.

• Effectively communicate with internal team, and customers to understand requirements and expectation.
• Work closely with top leadership to align engineering initiatives with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / chemical or electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within engineering, in the food processing equipment industry.
• Expertise in using Software's such as Solid Works, AutoCAD 3D etc.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, design process, and manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
