Position Overview
The Sr. Legal Consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the company, including drafting legal agreements, coordinating with legal consultants and advocates, and representing the company in various courts. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in legal practice, with a strong background in civil and criminal law, property laws, and legal compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Legal Drafting : Draft and review legal agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Court Representation : Represent the company in civil, criminal, and high courts; prepare and present cases in court.
- Coordination : Coordinate with legal consultants, advocates, solicitors, and legal firms to handle legal matters effectively.
- Legal Notices : Assist senior advocates in preparing legal notices to clients and government authorities.
- Compliance : Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, particularly in property law.
- Legal Reports : Prepare detailed legal reports and presentations for senior management.
- Advisory : Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company.
- Research : Stay updated with the latest developments in property laws and other relevant legal areas.
- Documentation : Maintain and organize legal documentation and records.
#### Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum of 20 years of experience in legal practice, with extensive experience in drafting legal agreements and handling court cases.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); a Master's degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Legal Expertise : In-depth knowledge of civil and criminal law, property laws, and legal compliance.
- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
