Learning supports Shell to learn and adapt faster than the competition.The purpose of the Learning and Development group at Shell is to most effectively, efficiently, and with speed, build required and critical individual skills that contribute to building differentiated organizational capabilities and accelerate the delivery of Shells Powering Progress StrategyBased out of India, which is a strategic growth hub for Shell, you join our global team in the Learning & Development organization, which is headed by our Chief Learning Officer, includes a mature Knowledge Management practice and forms part of the larger Talent, Learning & Leadership organization.Whats the role?Built on more than 125 years of technological innovation, our companys future performance depends on the successful development and deployment of new technologies and new products.With the highly-skilled people in our Shell Technology community, we invest every year in Research & Development for evolving new solutions that support energy activities, both in digital and physical technologies - or a combination of both - and in a variety of scientific fields such as chemistry, physics, engineering, electronics, and computational sciences.As Sr Learning Advisor foTechnology & Digital, you take part in our Learning team for Technology whose purpose is to build differentiated commercial and technical capabilities to drive Research & Development (R&D) and Innovation in the Technology organization. This team is also accountable for driving the Digital Skills agenda for Shell.Further accountabilities are as follows:

• Actively partner on Learning with Functional stakeholders, technical Subject Matter Experts, and other Learning colleagues to deliver the envisioned business impact from Learning plan and solutions.
• Align on an ongoing basis with Manager Learning on prioritization for value: right work, right team, right time, to drive value and impact in the areas that are of most strategic importance.
• Enable uptake of the learning portfolio in the assigned regions/businesses by understanding the local context and determining how the standard, global learning offerings can be leveraged in that context.
• For new learning needs, conduct Learning Needs Analysis for prioritized learning needs and design impactful learning experiences leveraging a blend of sources (build, borrow, buy, bend), pulling on expertise and resource from broader Learning organization.
• Manage learning portfolio health, including monitoring utilization, content relevance, learner feedback.
• Act as an active champion and role model on Learning Culture

What we need from you

• Minimum of masters degree in any relevant discipline with 10+ years of experience in Learning.
• Ability to work cross boundaries and build knowledge about the part of the organisation you will be supporting will be critical.
• Alongside your professional expertise in needs analysis, build/borrow/buy/bend, curation, planning, change management, delivery, and measurement, you must be willing to invest time to rapidly build a knowledge and a network across business and learning organisation.
• You will have or quickly develop professional learning skills such as familiarity with instructional design theories, practice, and methods; ability to storyboard and communicate vision to customers; project management; ability to create and curate digital material/media; optimal use of learning technologies; understanding and application of our Knowledge Management solutions; strong data analysis skills and evidence led approach to continuous improvement of learning provision.
• Bring an outcome focus and from the business back mindset to the role. You are comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and have a passion for integrating and collaborating across organisational boundaries. You challenge the status quo and drive for simplification.
• Bring a Learner Mindset, a curiosity to learn and grow, learn from mistakes, successes and speak up openly in a safe environment.
