Role

As the Sr Lead Legal Transaction you will be part of the Legal Function and will report to the Head Legal - Transaction

This role is responsible for analysing and identifying the legal risks and implications in all business transactions and safeguarding the interests of the organisation in relation to the contractual obligations with third parties.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

On the operational side:

(i) Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and transactions executed by the company with no legal exposure to the company;

(ii) Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and advice compliance proactively handling regulatory developments;

(iii) Serve as a lead counsel on all strategic deals resolving issues that arise in commercial contracts;

(iv) Review business providing legal insights and expertise on the existing and new business propositions;

(v) Providing guidance, advice and/or training to improve business\' understating of applicable laws.

On the strategic level, providing M&A support and transaction documentation including drafting, vetting, negotiating and finalizing the documents. Ensuring the consent of all the internal stakeholders is in place for such documentation

Academic Qualification & Experience

LLB with min 12 yrs of exp

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Breadth of legal expertise - Understating of wide variety of laws.
• Ability to identify legal risks and develop effective legal strategies and practical solutions
