An expert qTest engineer that can set-up the tool for IR's long term needs- Testing and others. This person should bring thought leadership from other previous engagements for the qTest set-up
A qTest consultant is a professional responsible for implementing and managing qTest, a test management software, to ensure effective testing and quality assurance processes for organizations. Key responsibilities include:
• Configuring and customizing qTest to meet client needs
• Developing and executing testing strategies, plans, and scripts
• Coordinating with teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
• Creating and managing test cases, suites, and runs within qTest
• Executing manual and automated tests, tracking results, and reporting defects
• Providing training and support to teams on qTest usage and best practices
• Integrating qTest with other tools and systems, such as JIRA, Agile, or CI/CD pipelines
• Analyzing testing metrics and providing insights for process improvement
• Ensuring testing compliance with industry standards and regulations
The ideal candidate should have experience in software testing, test management, and qTest tool, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
