What\'s the role?:We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Data Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Here Gurgaon office. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in contributing to our Business OKRs, bringing proficiency in Python and GIS to enhance our processes and achieve tangible business impacts.1. Data Analysis and Management:

• Conduct comprehensive spatial data analysis using GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Manage, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to produce high-quality map content and actionable insights.

2. Programming and Automation:

• Develop and implement Python and R scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation tasks.
• Utilize machine learning and AI techniques to improve data accuracy and predictive capabilities.

3. Process Efficiency and Development:

• Translate process efficiency concepts into development strategies.
• Implement efficiency enhancements that lead to significant time and effort savings.
• Continuously evaluate and improve workflows to optimize data processing and analysis.

4. Tool and Application Development:

• Develop custom GIS tools and applications to support various business needs.
• Utilize FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) for data transformation and integration tasks.

5. Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on GIS and data analysis tools and methodologies.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the accuracy and quality of spatial data and map content.
• Implement quality control measures and perform regular data audits.

Who are you?:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in GIS data analysis and management.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and R.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, and data science techniques.
• Knowledge of FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Minimum six years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the GIS domain with reasonable experience in python scripting.
• Working with large datasets and creating automated processes for data management and analysis.
• Agile Certifications such as KMP and CSM and advanced technical skills in FME and ARCGIS.
• Expertise in JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, Confluence and Miro-board.
